Welcome to MSO Custom Rods.  I’d like to say “We’re a small company that produces one of a kind fishing rods to meet the needs of each individual” but the “we” is just “me”.  Every rod is built for an individual such as you and is a “one-of-a-kind” item and as such I have no rods that can be purchased today.  I really enjoy building custom rods and it’s my goal to make your eyes light up when you first see you new rod and your heart pound when you first fish it.  I know that sounds corny but I feel great when someone’s gets an excited look and says to me, “ I love that rod you built for me”. 

You can be as involved as you like in the process of component selection, blank selection and aesthetics.  We can take the time to discuss every aspect of your custom rod or you can turn me loose with some critical specifications.  If there is something you would like to know about rod building just ask, I don’t have any “SECRET PROCESSES”.  I do have to warn you, I’ve been known to talk about guide selection for an hour.
